Yas Mall, the largest mall in Abu Dhabi, is showcasing the key trends in fashion and beauty for the upcoming Spring Summer season with its Spring Fashion Weekend from 22-24 March. From catwalk shows to beauty make-overs, and a chance to win a trending Scoot-e bike – the hottest celeb trend this Spring, this stunning 3-day event will showcase the seasons 4 latest trends across a host of activities from interactive fashion workshops, thematic choreographed shows, bespoke styling sessions and tips from the hottest lifestyle and fashion influencers.
Curated fashion workshops will highlight ways to best utilize the 4 key trends for the season: ‘Floral’, ‘Checks’, ‘Pastels’ and ‘Rainbow’. Aiming to inspire visitors of all tastes to have fun with fashion, Yas Mall’s Spring Fashion Weekend will have daily themed catwalk shows from 24 of Yas Mall’s key fashion brands including Maje, BCBG Max Azria, Guess, Debenhams and House of Fraser. For the grand finale on 24 March there will be 2 special catwalk shows from Tryano, part of the Chalhoub Group launched in March their Women’s Ready-to-Wear section evolving into a full-fledged concept department store.
One of the latest trends off the catwalk is the hugely popular electric-powered Scoot-e Bikes, known as Fashion E-Bikes, which have been endorsed by celebrities like Snoop Dogg and P.Diddy. Yas Mall is launching a new Spend&Win Competition giving those who spend AED 300 at participating retailers a chance to win 1 of 4 bikes.
Alison Tay, celebrity stylist and Editor-In Chief at Grazia Middle East will host #OOTD Styling Classes, helping fashion lovers choose the perfect look for the Gram. Yas Mall has also created a free Style Book, acting as the go-to guide for new bang-on-trend purchases. Ladies seeking a total-make-over can head to the Cosmo Beauty Bar, complete with nail, lashes and hair-braiding stations to help them “get the glow”.
Adding that extra special touch, both the Grazia Styling Lounge and the Cosmo Beauty Bar will host Grab Some SWAG competitions where guests can pay 1 dirham to win spectacular prizes via the Wheel of Beauty or the Lipstick Bulls Eye. Continuing Yas Mall’s charitable contribution, all the donations will go to Make A Wish Foundation UAE.
